Last month, we hopped on a plane and headed to Vegas to attend the EdTA national theatre conference. As a young company, it was our first conference at the national level, and boy did we have a blast! We met so many fantastic teachers looking to take their drama programs to the next level. We talked scenic projections, upcoming shows, and met so many people doing incredible things for their high school and middle school students.
I love hearing the stories of shows from the past and helping teachers dream about what’s possible in the future. We’ll definitely be back next year, and are thrilled that now we get to start down the road of many new relationships and see what exciting projects lie ahead. We already have ‘Addams Family’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast’ in our sights as shows to design and animate scenic projections for in the coming months.

JUST finished a new projection design for Alice in Wonderland!
This show has been one of the most rewarding to design new art and animations for—so much possibility lies in each scene, to imagine and reimagine how to make this story come alive on stage for a new generation.
In art school, my teacher told us to draw with fat, chunky materials.
That’s right. No more pencils.
Grab a chunk of charcoal or a crayon or maybe even draw with your eraser on a smudgy mess.
