What’s a show that inspires you? (explain away!)

A show that really inspires me is Peter and the Starcatcher. I love the “play” on using anything and everything around the space to create fun, imaginative costumes and set pieces and props.

What’s one of your happiest moments in theatre?

I love Saturdays in the Scene Shop with good music blasting and my technicians working away, roll up door open and the smell of fresh paint and sawdust in the air.

What’s the biggest ‘fail’ or goof you’ve seen on stage? (do tell the story)

The biggest fail I’ve seen on stage was when we were doing Beauty and the Beast. It was the big fight scene between Gaston and “the Beast” who was a body double and his mask and wig came off….

Why do you love theatre?

It is the highest form of “Play." We are the life-long fort builders, the dress-up makers, the prop magicians, the storytellers, the problem solvers.

Theatre is for...

"PLAY!"
